Hi, I’m Nabeel Tirmazi, and I’ve spent the last 24 years working at the intersection of media, storytelling, leadership development, and cross-cultural communication. From directing national television in Pakistan to leading international training programs across Asia-Pacific, my journey has been about helping people find their voice and use it wisely, on screen, on stage, and in the boardroom.
I’m currently based in Kuala Lumpur, where I serve as a Programme Manager and Broadcasting Consultant with a major intergovernmental organization. My role has taken me across 26 countries, designing and delivering impactful workshops on Mobile Journalism, Peace Journalism, AI literacy, Public Speaking, and Cultural Competency for media professionals, development workers, and future leaders.
My career began in ICT at age 18, later transitioning into television production, where I wore many hats, TV Director, Producer, Documentary Filmmaker, and Researcher. In 2013, I joined Pakistan Television (PTV), where I created and hosted a morning show that gained national recognition and helped present Pakistan’s cultural narratives to a global audience.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve evolved into a Learning & Development Designer, building training frameworks that blend AI, communication strategy, and leadership development. I hold multiple certifications in AI applications, and I work with clients and organizations to make sense of how emerging technologies can be used ethically and effectively in media and education.
I’m also a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), a 5-time Triple Crown awardee, and someone who truly believes in the power of public speaking to change lives. My speaking and coaching style is practical, culturally aware, and grounded in real-world experience.
My current focus is on executive coaching, AI-integrated communication training, and working with leaders who want to lead more mindfully in a rapidly changing world. I’m especially passionate about supporting professionals in the Asia-Paciic region where I see exciting potential for innovation in media and development.
