I’ve spent the last 22 years at the heart of global media evolution. My journey has taken me from national newsrooms to the boardrooms of intergovernmental agencies, always with a single focus: How do we use technology to amplify humanity, rather than replace it?

Based in Kuala Lumpur since 2017, I serve as a bridge between traditional broadcasting wisdom and the frontier of AI innovation. My work is not just about “media training”, it is about architecting the governance frameworks and cultural intelligence that allow institutions to survive and thrive in a digital-first world.

Strategic Focus I partner with broadcasters, INGOs, and public institutions across the Asia-Pacific to design ethical AI workflows and future-ready communication strategies. Having worked across 26+ countries, from the ASEAN nations to the Pacific SIDS, I understand that innovation without cultural context is a liability.

My advisory work and training programs (all designed to meet HRD Corp/HRDF standards) focus on:

  • Responsible AI Integration: Building the governance and ethical guardrails for automated newsrooms.
  • Systems Resilience: Leading institutions through digital transitions, crisis communication, and ISO-compliant remote workflows.
  • Cultural Intelligence: Navigating the complex intersection of policy, diplomacy, and multicultural leadership.

Global Impact & Advocacy Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with agencies such as UNESCO, UNDP, and UNICEF to strengthen public service media. I believe media is a tool for social cohesion, and my work focuses on positioning institutions as trusted voices in an age of disinformation.

As a Top 30 LinkedIn Voice on Cultural Competency, I bring a researcher’s rigor and a practitioner’s empathy to cross-border collaboration. I don’t just deliver projects; I help build the institutional capacity needed for long-term impact.

The Human Element Beyond the boardroom, I am a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and a lifelong visual storyteller. My work as a photographer across 16+ countries has taught me that effective communication begins with observation. Whether I am architecting a media policy or capturing a moment on film, my philosophy remains the same: Leadership is the art of narrative curation.
