Sending immense gratitude to the Ministry of Information and the esteemed Union Information Minister Maung Maung Ohn for hosting an exceptional workshop on Streaming Technology and Content Strategy in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. Over 60 media practitioners from broadcasting organizations across the country came together for this important capacity-building initiative.
As Programme Manager at AIBD, it was an honor to work alongside MRTV in designing and implementing this training. My role focused on ensuring the workshop not only covered the technical aspects of streaming platforms but also addressed how broadcasters can craft compelling content strategies to balance classical programming with contemporary demands.

I also had the opportunity to deliver a dedicated session on Storytelling in Broadcasting through Audience Analytics. In this session, we discussed how data-driven insights can help broadcasters understand their audiences better, allowing them to shape stories that resonate, retain attention, and reflect the pulse of society.
A big thank you to my wonderful colleagues at MRTV, Ms Than Than Aye, Mr Yan Naingcho, Ms Khine, and Ms Jasmine, along with the top management, whose support made this workshop impactful. Appreciation also goes to fellow experts, Mr Abhilash Nagabhushana, Dr Amal Punchihewa, Dr Bharat Mohan, Mr Farikh Ikram, and others, for their collaboration.
This initiative marks another step toward equipping Myanmar’s broadcasters with the skills and strategies to thrive in the streaming era.
