After 9 years of an intense and transformative journey with AIBD, it’s time to turn the page.

Partnering with 26 governments and 100+ broadcasters to deliver 137 trainings was more than a career highlight, it was a masterclass in how media architecture defines the soul of our societies.

To the AIBD Secretariat, Members & U.N Partners: thank you for the trust, the respect, and the space to do work that really mattered.

On a lighter note, while every other influencer these days is uploading their AI-generated celebrity selfies, I’m using the trend to pivot back to what matters. These aren’t just ‘short clips’, they are the core advocacy themes that have defined my career:
* Safety for journalists & Climate action.
* Gender equity & Human rights.
* Media/AI literacy
* E-waste management for Broadcasters.
* AI Governance
And most importantly: Ethical Broadcasting. This video is a 20-year snapshot of those moments.

So What’s next?

I’m moving away from the training room and into the strategy room. Right now, occupied with some applied AI governance projects for the broadcasters, with a focus on mindset, decision-making, and institutional responsibility. I’ll be sharing the updates soon.

Lastly, technology will keep shifting. What has to evolve faster is leadership thinking. Currently, broadcasters don’t need to adapt every available AI feature rather they need governance mindsets that help them design their own workflows, set ethical boundaries, and raise editorial and narrative standards from within.

That’s where real change happens.

Let’s stay in touch. Our paths might cross again, and when they do, we can build something even better together.
