Happy Solar New Year and a prosperous harvest season to all my friends!

While I celebrate Vaisakhi today as a Punjabi, I am thinking of my friends all across Asia who are also celebrating a new beginning.

My life has been enriched by these friendships, which have given me the perspective to understand our shared emotions and the beautiful ways we connect. This understanding doesn’t just stay in my personal life; it flows into everything I do professionally as well.

It is amazing to see so many cultures starting fresh today:

Pohela Boishakh 1433 (Bangladesh) 🇧🇩

Chol Chnam Thmey (Cambodia) 🇰🇭

Pi Mai Lao 2569 (Laos) 🇱🇦

Navabarsha 2083 (Nepal) 🇳🇵

Vaisakhi (Punjab) 🇵🇰🇮🇳

Aluth Avurudhu (Sri Lanka) 🇱🇰

Puthandu (Tamil New Year) 🇮🇳

Songkran (Thailand) 🇹🇭

Even though we speak different languages, we are all doing the same thing: letting go of the old year and welcoming the new with hope. These rituals, cleaning our homes, forgiving each other, and starting fresh, are the threads that hold us together.

Let’s pray for one another and choose peace in our communities today.
